Snow!
We had some good old-fashioned playing in the snow time this afternoon while Catherine was napping. Andrew had taken the extra effort to push snow into a bank on the side of the house where our best sliding hill is. It made us have an extra high starting ramp to gain some speed to make it across our back yard, which is usually just wide enough that you get stuck before the second hill. The new ramp works! Here are some views from the day:
I added you to my blog's sidebar if that is okay! You must have a private setting so it doesn't show your updates? No big deal.. easy to click and check! Looks like sledding was fun. Winter is such a fun time of year, if only snow could survive when it was just a little bit warmer!
I was born and raised in Maine, the only child of my mother, the youngest of my father's five kids. I graduated from the University of Maine in 2000 with a degree in Music Education, and have been teaching ever since. I have taught K-8 Music in the past, but am currently teaching K-8 Gifted and Talented and Advanced Middle School Math. My two daughters are 19 months apart, the eldest born in September 2005, the second in May 2007. They have changed my world for the better. My husband and I met in September of our freshman year at UMaine, and have been together exclusively since that October. We married in August of 2002, and he's my rock. Someday I hope to become a birth doula.
