So, yeah, it's been several months. Been very busy keeping up with life. My working life has changed quite a bit. The last two school years I had been teaching G&T 3 days a week and tutoring a high school student a couple of hours the other two days. My student has grown and adapted and no longer needed me, and my school board cut me back to 2 days a week. Going from basically full time to 2 days would not be a good thing financially. After applying to everything that moved, I ended up landing a 50% time position teaching Advanced Math at the same middle school my husband is at. Going from 60% time plus tutoring to 90% time has been a switch - and since my 10% 'off time' is actually spent driving between schools, I work a full day, just don't get paid for it!
The girls have been growing like weeds, physically and otherwise. E started kindergarten and is absolutely loving it - she's such a little scholar. C is now the 'big kid' at daycare and relishing that role. Both girls have totally grown into who they are, and it's wonderful to watch them. We never have a dull moment, that's for sure!
We have also welcomed a new puppy to our family. Little Bella has upset the balance of the animal world around here, but it's gradually getting closer to normal. Well, as normal as our household gets!
